1) Albondigas: South American countries- concoction of Zucchini carrots, garlic, tomatoes & various spices. The main substance is meat balls.
2) Wasserschalle: Germany- blend of spices and bread.
3) Okroshka: Russia- traditional cold soup; The first set of vegetables must be neutral in flavour. For example, turnips, potatoesor rutabagas would be an excellent combination. The second sort is spicy, which means green onions are used in combination with a variety of spicy green vegetables such as Dill leaves, celery, tarragon & parsley.

6) Tshoem: Bhutan- beef and mushroom soup that is often served as a main course. This soup is a spicy, filling dish consisting of beef cubes, garlic, ginger, chilli peppers and oyster mushrooms.
7) Abgousht: Iran- stew, consisting mainly of meat, garbanzo beans & white beans.
8) Erwtensoep: Netherlands- considered as national Dutch glory. This thick pea soup also known as ‘snert’ by many and made differently in every household and most families prepare one day before it is served.
9) Cock-A-Leekie: Scotland- dating back to 1500s. It has been documented that this soup was served at a knight’s house with boiling fowl and prunes.
10) Consomme a L’Orange: Haiti & Carribbean- light and delicate soup served hot or cold.
